Bikini Babe

So the other day, Darion and I decided to go to a friend's and swim. Unfortunately, I hadn't tried on this particular swimsuit since BP (before pregnancy). I put on my swim suit top and was appalled at how inappropriate the top had become... My boobs are no longer g-rated, I'm gonna have to change swim suits.
Then, I was sitting on a lawn chair by the pool, and I noticed that I totally have a little line of light hairs growing up my stomach. Precursor to linea nigra? I think yes. Bummer, I felt gross.
I've also been struggling with some pretty severe round ligament pain in my left side the past week or so. It's way worse when I walk. Poor Darion must feel like he's walking a little old lady around town!
But, I finally made the plunge yesterday and decided to buy a body pillow. After initially having major issues with the zipper on the pillow case and having to return it today, I have decided it was the wisest $20 investment of my pregnancy thus far. I have two cases and the pillow, so not a bad deal. And while I wouldn't say I sleep comfortable, I'd say it definitely cuts down on the discomfort I experience, and it's nice not waking up sore everyday.
In other news, I've started working on my registry. It's going to take forever because I am researching everything before I put it on my registry. It's also a little problematic because, with the limited availability of baby stores in the area, most of my items are going to need to be purchases online or about an hour away. More bummer! I'm thinking of putting a memo in my baby shower invites and hoping that people take it seriously.
On a lighter note, the baby has been swishing and dancing and tumbling and rolling in there!! I can feel him on the outside, and Darion and I are pretty sure that Darion felt the baby for the first time yesterday. So exciting!! It's neat to feel the little guy's kicks getting stronger and more obvious.
So now we're just waiting with bated breath until next Friday's appointment to find out our ultrasound results (hopefully the SCH is gone!!!). So there's my update for today! I'll post my Wednesday update soon, but tonight it's too late to invest the effort.
