Getting bigger!! I officially bump my stomach on the
fridge door almost every time I open it, haha!
How far along are you?: 28 weeks, only 12 weeks to go, isn't that crazy?!
How big is baby?: He is about 14 and three quarter inches, about two and a quarter pounds!
Weight gain/loss?: Uhhhhhmmm.... apparently somewhere along the way, I got my numbers confused and I'm actually still 3 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight... oops!! So I don't know where I messed up, but three more pounds to go 'til I'm in the positives!
Stretch marks?: On my boobs.
Maternity clothes?: Yep!
Sleep?: It's been okay this week, but I've got really sore hips in the mornings.
Best moment this week?: I was glad to go to my doctor's appointment. I kept expecting her to give me bad news for some reason, but she didn't, so phew! Thanksgiving and Darion's dad's wedding were really fun too!!! I had a blast and got to meet some really cool people from stories I've been hearing for five years at the wedding, so that was neat!
Food cravings?: French toast it seems... I was eating stroganoff when suddenly french toast sounded amazing. Darion made a joke about my thought process. "So while you're eating your meal you're just thinking 'I wish I had a meal to go with this meal.'" Haha!
Gender?: Little man!
Movement?: Yep, he moves all the time! I'm supposed to start monitoring how long it takes him to move 10 times each day and fill out a "kick count card," but usually I kind of half pay attention, and when he kicks five times in two minutes, I just assume he's gonna make it to ten in under ten minutes and check that box. I think the card is just to encourage you to pay attention and make sure your baby doesn't suddenly stop moving because it can be an indication of pre-term labor.
Belly button?: Innie, but it's slowwwwly getting more and more shallow!
Labor signs?: Gosh, thankfully none yet!!
What do I miss?: I'm starting to miss my old body. I miss being able to sit up without it being impossible, lift one leg at a time without my hips being in searing pain, and just looking different. I love certain things about being pregnant, but it's all very foreign. Worth it, but it'll be nice to go back to some type of normal in February! :]
What I'm looking forward to this week?: I really can't wait to get my gestational diabetes results back. Fingers crossed that we're in the clear!! I am also looking forward to getting our new camera today! We ordered a really nice camera to take good quality pictures with once the baby gets here. I can't wait to start learning to use it! Also, tonight is the craft faire at our church, and that should prove to be a really fun time.
